Miao Jiaxin, the performance artist who irked Airbnb with his posting that offered accommodations in the form of a cage, has opened the “dream cage” for business and has posted video from the grand opening and live streaming video online.
The terms of the stay require that guests must stay in the 6′ x 8′ x 6′ jail-cell-like cage from 9 AM to 12 PM. On August 1, Miao himself was the first guest, and the next day another guest checked-in. While most online cams are silent or has ambient noise, the broadcast from the studio makes the passage of time painfully obvious with an incessant ticking of a clock.
The next livestream will be on August 3. So, put the panda cam in a background browser tab and watch another enclosed animal.
