This Friday, the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office thinks ahead to the coming warmer weather with its Spring Concert that features five Taiwanese classical musicians and singers from some of the most prestigious music programs in the world:
- Joy Wang (王琦), piano
- Sylvia Chen (陳羿君 / 陈羿君), cello
- Tracy Chang (張心梅 / 张心梅), soprano
- Yi-Wen Lai (鋼琴家 / 钢琴家), piano
- Chang-En Lu (呂長安 / 吕长安), violin

In addition to works by Robert Schumann and Astor Piazolla, the program includes works by Taiwanese composers Gordon Chin (金希文), Ya-Chu Yang, and Tyzen Hsiao (蕭泰然 / 萧泰然), known as the “Taiwanese Rachmaninoff”, who passed away earlier this week on February 24.
